Join FPVRC in our fight to protect the vacation rental industry.

Professional vacation rental managers need to band together. The effects of COVID19 have created travel trends of increased demand for vacation rentals. The growth in vacation rentals has placed the industry under a microscope and local communities are responding with regulations and restrictive ordinances.

Our opponents are organized and well-funded. They are allowing politicians at the state and local level to whittle away at our ability to rent vacation homes by placing burdensome, costly, and unenforceable regulations on our businesses.

Formulating Sustainable Legislation: Establishing a Solid Foundation for Short-term Rental Regulation in Our State

As our industry continues its rapid growth and expanding market share in the hospitality space, it is vital that professional property managers, operators, and vendors work with State and Local Governments to develop sustainable legislation, and accepted industry practices and standards, to bring finality to the short-term rental regulation in our State. By doing this, we’ll solidify the quicksand of ever-changing short-term rental laws, codes, and ordinances that we have been challenged with for years, and we’ll finally create a solid foundation that we can build upon. I am very excited to see what we can accomplish as an industry, with this part of our history in the past.
